讀到一句話(huà)，難以理解：
Babies of two months old do not appear to be reluctant to  enter the water.
It is not long before they are so accustomed to swimming that they can pick up weights from the floor of the pool.

原書(shū)的參考譯文如下：
兩個(gè)月的嬰兒并末顯得不愿意入水。
他們很快便適應了游泳，以致能撿起池底的物品。 //他們很快便適應了游泳？？？

俺橫看堅看感覺(jué)參考譯文譯得怪怪的，哪位高手指點(diǎn)一下！

關(guān)鍵點(diǎn)就是這句：“pick up weights from the floor of the pool”

會(huì )不會(huì )是踩水的意思呢，瞎猜的。

依俺的理解，原文中老外想說(shuō)的意思應該是這樣：
只是很短時(shí)間，在孩子們適應學(xué)會(huì )游泳之前，他們就能撿起池底的物品。
//還沒(méi)有適應游泳，就會(huì )潛水撿東西了？老外的說(shuō)話(huà)邏輯一定是有毛��？

直譯：他們可以把他們的體重從池底提上來(lái)

就是說(shuō)，他們可以不再依靠池底的支撐，通過(guò)鳧水來(lái)使他們的身體騰空
